Overview of the role

We are looking for a qualified professional with a background in Industrial Biotechnology having experience of planning, organizing, overseeing day-to-day operations of production lines, ensuring quality of output and meeting set timelines. The incumbent will be responsible for the production of quality products as per market demands by working closely with the relevant functions within the Organization. The candidate needs to be enthusiastic about working in a startup environment, taking scale up challenges, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn new techniques.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Process and Engineering team on scale-up efforts.
  • Actively support the tech transfer of production processes from Scale-up to Manufacturing team.
  • Develop and execute production plans to fulfil orders and maintain the required inventory level.
  • Allocate resources and utilize assets effectively to produce optimal results.
  • Prepare and ensure SOPs are adhered to at all stages of the production process.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate in Biotechnology/ Chemical Engineering/ Life Science.
  • 10 to 15 years of work experience in Biotechnology or relevant industry.
  • Hands-on experience with fermentation, centrifugation, filtration, evaporation and drying processes in a medium to large-scale industry
  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma & Lean concepts will be an added advantage.

    Overview of the role

    Ownership of all accounting & cost accounting related activities at the factory at Tumakuru, GST compliance, support in preparing budgets, forecasts and tracking, handling audits and supporting the CFO.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Accounting, Cost Accounting

  • Complete oversight and ownership of the finance and accounting activities at the factory which would include accounting of supplier invoices, preparing E Invoices for sales, inventory accounting, valuation and control (raw material, finished goods and WIP), running the monthly Fixed Asset module / depreciation etc to align with the accounting policies and the company processes.
  • Development of detailed and robust product cost accounting processes enabling arriving at product costs at SKU level and taking ownership of the implementation of the system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly close and management reporting.
  • Oversight of the physical verification of inventory and fixed assets.
  • Implementation and continuous review of financial internal control procedures and related reporting across all factory operations.

    Overview of the role

    The position will be in charge of sales and marketing for agricultural inputs, with a focus on crop nutrition, biostimulants, and agrochemicals. They will also have extensive knowledge of the local market.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of Area Change Leaders and Technical Specialists to plan, drive and manage String Bio’s sales & marketing operations in designated Region(s).
  • Be the point person accountable for sales/revenue budgets in the region and build/plan/implement business strategies to achieve and exceed objectives for the region(s).
  • Oversee partner engagement in the region – including distributors, dealers/retailers, institutions, FPOs and formulators and be the lead on relationship management with key/critical partners in the region.
  • Ensure establishment of String Agri input brands in the region, drive adoption and retention of farmers and partners.
  • Oversee demand generation activities at the farmer level.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure.
  • Handle regulatory requirements with the Department of Agriculture at a regional level.
